To order a sandwich, just choose the size you want and select a type of bread, then order your sandwich filling and customize to suit your taste. But are there vegetarian options at Jimmy John’s?
According to the online menu, there are 2 vegetarian items at Jimmy John’s. To order a vegetarian sandwich, ask for “the veggie,” which contains provolone cheese and avocado, as well as salad items, or “the slim 6,” which is just a plain cheese sandwich (not the most exciting option!). You can then customize your sandwich by adding more salad options and sauces. We recommend adding sliced pickles, plenty of onion, and some oregano-basil mixed herbs, before topping with oil and vinegar or a mustard of your choice.
Watch out for Caesar dressing, because this contains anchovies and is not suitable for vegetarians. Other vegetarian items at Jimmy John’s include the chips and the cookies, so you can bulk out your sandwich to something a little more substantial and filling.
