Fazoli is a popular fast casual restaurant chain that serves Italian-American cuisine and dishes, with 215 branches located nationwide. They are well known for their House Side Salad, Baked Lasagna, Breadstick Sliders, and Spicy Baked Ziti with Sausage.

In the early 2000s, a growing trend as well as people switching to a healthier lifestyle, showed a demand for low-carbohydrate diets. To address this demand, Fazoli introduced eight new menu items back in 2004, with 8 grams of fat or less and added more menu items with vegetables and protein. They also announced that they will be no longer using trans fat in their popular bread sticks.

According to Fazoli’s official nutrition information, there are 27 keto options at Fazoli’s with 20g of carbs or less. The keto menu items that you should definitely try are the Low Carb Pepperoni & Bacon Flatbread Pizza, the Keto Combo, and the Gluten Friendly Chicken Pesto Rotini, all of which with 8g or less net carbs.

The House Side Salad and the Caesar side salad, also has 8g or less net carbs, which are not part of the Lifestyle Menu due for it having croutons, may be served without it to further having less net carbs. The last 2 menu items, although with 37g of net carbs, the Crispy Chicken Bacon Ranch and the Chicken Bacon Caesar may be under the 20g net carb target by having the breadstick croutons and the dressing removed or not included prior from serving.

Other recommended items that you may ‘tweak’ on Fazoli’s menu are the Meatball da Vinci and the Chicken Parm Submarino, and have it without the garlic toasted roll and with less marinara sauce that you may find still enjoyable to eat.
