Cracker Barrel is a chain of family-friendly casual-dining restaurants. It is well known for its old-timey style—all its restaurants feature a front porch and wooden rocking chairs, and you’ll often find country music singers performing. Its restaurants also feature gift shops, which sell old-fashioned wooden toys and puzzles. Beyond this, it’s known for its take on Southern-style cuisine. Expect dishes like fried chicken, pot pies, meatloaf, and other American classics. But can you find vegetarian food at Cracker Barrel?
We analyzed the online menu and nutritional information and found that there are 26 vegetarian options available at Cracker Barrel. However, most of these are sides and extras. For dinner, we recommend the Country Vegetable Plate—it’s a choice of 4 side dishes, so you can make it your own. Sides include Macaroni N’ Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, Cole Slaw, Broccoli, Carrots, and the delicious Hashbrown Casserole.
At breakfast time, you’ll have a little more choice. If you to order vegetarian food at Cracker Barrel, go for the Country Morning Breakfast, or go sweet with Buttermilk Pancakes or French Toast (without bacon).
