Carl’s Jr. is an American fast-food restaurant chain that is probably best known for its iconic charbroiled burgers and chicken tenders. Although neither of these famous selections at Carl’s Jr. is suitable for the vegan diet, eating vegan here is not impossible at all.
According to the ingredients list provided on their website, there are 14 vegan-friendly options at Carl’s Jr. that do not contain animal products.
The all-time crowd favorite Carl’s Jr. specialty burgers and sandwiches like the Monster Angus Thickburger and Grilled Cheese Breakfast Sandwich are obviously off-limits to the vegan diet as they are served with meat-based ingredients. Instead of these, we recommend the Taco Salad ordered without meat and cheese and the BRC Burrito ordered without cheese as vegan entree options. The Super Nachos make a great entree as well but remember to order it without the cheese.
If you have more calorie allowance for the day, you can always opt for any vegan sides from our list. Some of our recommendations are the Hash Rounds – Small, Guacamole, and Chips.
When you’re ordering vegan at Carl’s Jr., you’ll also have to avoid the Biscuit ‘N’ Gravy, Hand Scooped Ice-Cream Shakes, and French Toast Dip as they contain milk.
