Burger King Gluten Free Menu

Burger King is a fast food restaurant best known for their flame-broiled Whopper hamburgers and thousands of locations around the world. While this popular chain is loved by many, many in the gluten free community often wonder how to eat gluten free at Burger King. So how do the gluten free options at Burger King stack up against the competition?

We have analyzed the official ingredients and allergen information and found that there are as many as 15 gluten free options at Burger King, depending on your level of gluten sensitivity. Unfortunately, Burger King does not offer a gluten free burger bun at this time so while their Whopper and Tendergrill patties are gluten-free, you will have to order them without a bun for it to be safe to eat.

Luckily, if you are not in the mood for a bunless burger there are a few other options to choose from for people avoiding gluten; the Crispy Taco, French Fries and Garden Fresh Salad are 100% gluten free options to consider. However, like most fast food restaurants, all food is cooked on shared surfaces and fryers meaning the possibility for cross contamination is very high. We cannot recommend any these items for people with a gluten allergy or celiac disease.

On the other hand, if you are looking for gluten free sweets or dessert then Burger King may have you covered. Their Shakes, Soft serve ice cream and Sundaes are all delicious gluten free choices that will leave you feeling satisfied without the stomach pain from gluten!

At DietMenus we work hard to ensure the accuracy of our menus. We use proprietary models and a manual research team to determine which menu items fit each diet. Despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee that all menu items are 100% accurate. We aim to provide a strong starting point by removing most of the fluff but for some diets like vegan or gluten free sometimes more questions are needed. Please use your best judgement and double check with your waiter before ordering.
